The 24V water inlet solenoid valve of the water purifier is an automated basic component controlled by 24V DC power. It is used to control the water inlet flow of the water purifier and plays a crucial role in the water purifier system. It can precisely control the on - off of the water flow to ensure the normal operation of the water purifier.
It is applicable to electronically controlled water supply equipment powered by electromagnetic direct current with a voltage ranging from DC 27.5V to 20.4V, which is commonly found in machines such as water purifiers and pure water machines. In addition, it is also used in washing machines (including top - loading and front - loading washing machines), ice makers, and all other household appliances that involve water intake and drainage, such as water dispensers and coffee makers.
When the power is not turned on, under the action of the spring force at its upper end and its own gravity, the metal core closes the central hole through the rubber gasket. At this time, the water pressure in the water inlet chamber is equal to the water pressure in the sealed chamber between the rubber valve and the plastic pilot valve, so that the rubber valve is firmly pressed against the water pipe port in the valve body, cutting off the water flow. When the solenoid valve is connected to 24V DC power, the electromagnetic force pulls up the metal core, the central hole is opened, the pressure in the cavity between the rubber valve and the plastic pilot valve is lower than the tap water pressure in the water inlet chamber, the rubber valve is pushed open, and the solenoid valve starts to take in water and work.
The rated voltage is DC 24V.
Note: In the context of pipe threads in China, "2 " is approximately equivalent to 1/4 inch, "3 " is approximately 3/8 inch, and "4 " is approximately 1/2 inch. These are common conversion relationships in the field of plumbing.
Phenomenon: Due to the dirty raw water quality and the large amount of large - particle impurities, no pure water or wastewater is produced, or the water production speed is significantly reduced.
Solution: Clean the filter screen of the solenoid valve and flush it with water.
Phenomenon: It causes the wastewater to keep flowing after the machine stops.
Solution: Tap it with something (such as the handle of a screwdriver) to let the stuck impurities flow out with the water. If the problem persists, the water inlet solenoid valve needs to be replaced.
Check the resistance values of the two terminals of the solenoid valve. If the displayed resistance value is less than 0.2 ohms, the coil is normal.
Unplug the input wire of the high-voltage switch to keep the high-voltage switch in a closed state.
Turn on the water source and power supply, then press the start button.
Short-circuit the input wire of the low-pressure switch (to keep the low-pressure switch in a closed state). If water flows out from the water outlet end of the solenoid valve, it means the solenoid valve opens normally.
Disconnect the input wire of the low-voltage switch (to make the low-voltage switch in the disconnected state). If there is no water flowing out from the water outlet end of the solenoid valve, the closing of the solenoid valve is normal.
